The body tube of the Selmer 1430LP is made from our famous Selmer Resonite™ composite. This highly resonant material is reamed, drilled, and undercut by digitally calibrated and computer-controlled machinery in Elkhart, Indiana to ensure ideal response and excellent intonation. 

Easier to use, the single piece body and low Eb on the 1430LP body tube mean no keys extended over joints. The unique post and plate key mounting make for consistent "touch" and high quality Music Medic pads ensure a good seal every time.
