Samson’s UM1/77 Combo Micro Diversity Wireless System is a high-performance, UHF wireless system featuring the UM1 Micro UHF Receiver with both beltpack/lavalier and handheld mic transmitters. It’s a versatile wireless system that allows videographers to choose the proper transmitter for the application, guaranteeing exceptional audio in every shot.

Designed for commercial, corporate and broadcast video professionals, the compact UM1 Micro UHF Receiver can be easily mounted to just about any video camera or hot shoe bracket. The receiver features balanced mini XLR and unbalanced 1/8" outputs with Mic/Line level switch, a 1/8" headphone/monitor output with volume control, DC input (6-13V), switchable battery/RF level LED meter and a variable Squelch Control. The 9V battery/DC-powered UM1 Micro UHF Receiver also offers antenna diversity technology for dropout free RF operation within a 300' line-of-sight area.

The combo system features two transmitters (only one can be used at a time). The CT7 Beltpack Transmitter has separate Power and Audio Mute switches, variable input gain control, input pad, battery level/power LED meter and a balanced mini XLR input jack. The CT7 is paired with an omnidirectional Samson LM5 Lavalier Microphone, which comes with a tie clip and windscreen. The HT7 Handheld Transmitter features a Samson Q7 Professional Dynamic Microphone capsule, providing crystal clear vocal performance with separate Power and Audio Mute switches, battery level/power LED meter and a variable mic gain control. Both transmitters operate on standard 9V batteries (not included).

The UM1 receiver and transmitters are available in six frequencies within the 642Mhz to 645Mhz range. Up to six systems can operate simultaneously in a single location. The UM1 combo system also includes both XLR to mini-XLR and 1/8" to 1/8" cables, a handheld mic stand clip, Velcro receiver mounting strip and foam-lined, hard shell carry case.
