25mm Dual-Layer Stave Shell

Though the two-layered/two-wood shell has the properties of a solid shell, it is actually formed from multiple beveled solid Thai Oak wood staves. Each are cut and nested in precise order, and bonded together with an added stave of exotic Makha wood inserted into the center Dado channel formed by each stave. After the newly-formed shell is allowed to cure, it is lathed to a perfectly round 25mm thickness.
