VARIAi’s fully modular design enables cabinets to be easily configured as flown vertical arrays, powerful horizontal arrays, or ground stacked systems. With a range of vertical and horizontal dispersion angles and Renkus-Heinz’s unique Transitional WaveGuides, VARIAi’s highly configurable enclosures and ingenious hardware make it easy to custom design an
VARIA101i Array Modules are built around a high power 10" Low Frequency woofer coupled with either one or two neodymium High Frequency Compression Drivers. These audiophile quality components coupled with Renkus-Heinz unique Tuned Conic Diverter WaveGuide, ensure the optimum sound quality and arrayability.
7.5º VARIAi cabinets employ concealed flying hardware to hang and array like traditional line arrays, 15º and 22.5º cabinets are fixed curvature and must be tight pack arrayed.
VA101i cabinets are self-powered with integral PF2-500R DSP and CobraNet enabled amp modules. VAX101i enclosures require external amplification and DSP processing.
The VA101i-7 is designed using a single 10-inch Low Frequency Woofer and two 1-inch High Frequency Compression Drivers. Available in 60º, 90º, and 120º standard configurations, as well as with 60º/90º and 90/120º transitional WaveGuide options. The VA101i-7 is arrayable from 0º to 7.5º in 1.5º steps.
The VAX101i-7 is a passive version of the same system.
Roebuck, SC | November, 2014 - "VARIA was an ideal choice for this venue because its variable coverage pattern enabled us to use fewer boxes to achieve the same coverage. The result was a reduction in both cost and weight, as well as improved sightlines." - David Clyburn, Musicraft
New Albany, IN | February, 2013 - The Church of the Greater Faith is an active and forward-thinking Pentecostal congregation that has been growing by leaps and bounds, thanks in no small part to their contemporary approach to worship. Indeed, Greater Faith's rapid growth has been a source of both joy and challenges, and as their numbers have swelled, their modest 700-seat sanctuary now hosts two Sunday morning services, with a third service added in the afternoon.
Oakland, CA | February, 2014 - "Typical line arrays would only provide the right directivity in one plane. The client wanted a line array system that would provide the output and headroom for the sound they create, and VARIA fit the bill perfectly." - Rocky Giannetta, Layer 8, Inc.
Long Beach, CA | February, 2014 - "The IC2 delivers such even sound pressure level from front to back. When we did the demo, it was set up at the far end of the arena and shot down the long way. You could walk the whole space, cover the floor, and keep it a solid 98 db SPL from one side to the other." - Andy Batwinas, Electrosonics
Long Beach, CA | December, 2013 - "We couldn't be happier with the new VARIA system. Our customer base noticed immediately. It's loud, clear, and clean, without blowing people away. Thanks to the new VARIA system, we are now known as the premiere live music venue in Southern California." -- Mike Neufeld, Owner, The Gaslamp
