Starting with Pearl's Ultracast seamless aluminum shell, the snare is milled to 5mm at the top and bottom, and features an interior midsection milled to a 3mm thickness, simulating "reinforcement rings."

The shell exterior features machined grooves and a Black Nickel finish to add tonal control.

All shell hardware, including the Three-Step SR020 multi-tension snare switch, is finished in stunning Nickel plating.  

The special 12-lug batter (top,) 8-lug resonant (bottom,) tension design is possible with Pearl's single Swivel Tube Lugs, bringing focus to the batter head and centered sensitivity.
